The Church Elders are members of the Church who are of good standing, mature in the faith, and well respected within and outside the Church. The Church Elders is headed by a Presiding Elder. The Elders receive, sit and deliberate upon disputes and disciplinary matters arising among members of the Congregation. The Elders could also be called upon to represent the Church at social and other functions involving sister churches and members of the congregation such as harvests, weddings, funerals, etc. The Presiding Elder assists or stands in for the Pastor or Chairman to oversee the spiritual and general life of the Church.
