WELFARE
Welfare The Welfare Ministry is in place for the benefits of church members. Members are encouraged to contact the welfare coordinator whenever they in need for the support of the Church in time of sickness, bereavement, marriage, outdooring etc. The Welfare Ministry discharge her duties through the following teams
The Visitation Team The Team is responsible for:
(i) Organizing visits to couples with new babies, and to members who are bereaved, sick etc. These visits may be extended to other members of the general community.
(ii) Visiting members who have been regular at services and other Church functions.
(iii) Following up visitors to the Church and keeping in touch with members who leave the congregation.
(iv) Making sure that every member of the Congregation is visited at sometime.
The Hospitality Team The Hospitality Team is responsible for:
(i) Catering for the immediate needs of members just joining the Church
(ii) Procuring gifts and presents for members during festivity.
(iii) Seeing to the welfare of student members of the Church.
(iv) Interacting and providing refreshment for visitors to the Chruch’s services.
The Entertainment Team The Entertainment Team is responsible for:
(i) Organizing recreational and social activities such as Fun fairs, Excursions, Love feasts, Gifts days and Drama nights.
(ii) Arranging packed meals for church groups going out of town to attend Weddings, Funerals etc.
(iii) Organizing refreshment for members at General meetings and other occasions where necessary.
